The Heart of the Subject and Suppose
there was a way to clean out clogged up arteries, and treat
arteriosclerosis (hardening of the arteries), and other problems
related to heart disease, without surgery? Suppose this treatment also
addressed other diseases, such as, some types of kidney disease,
hypertension, premature senility, (due to circulatory obstructions to
the brain). Suppose such a treatment also has shown a great deal of
functional improvement in patient's with Alzheimer's disease and
Parkinson's disease. [The History of EDTA, Leon Chaitow, N.D., D.O.,
1990] You would probably think that everyone should know about it, right? A Bypass Surgeon Endorses Chelation Therapy Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery: The Marketing of an Operation A Patients Perspective The Early History This
type of treatment has been around since World War II when it was
discovered and used to treat sailors exposed to lead paint on ships. It
is called Chelation Therapy. The word chelate, comes from Greek,
meaning to "claw out." How it works is simple. Heavy metals, calcium
and other artery blocking substances adhere, or stick, to the chelating
agent and it simply comes out in the urine. EDTA is introduced into the
body by a suppository known as Detoxamin,
which is the most effective and affordable method compared to the cost
prohibitive and time consuming intravenous method. Once EDTA is
introduced into the bloodstream through the colon wall it circulates
through the arterial system, and it draws out all calcium, lead, heavy
metals that clog the artery walls and make blood flow difficult. Researchers
in the 1940's discovered that EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid)
would "chelate" lead from sailors who were poisoned by this heavy metal
and acted as an antidote to heavy metal toxicity (like lead poisoning).
The US FDA currently approves of EDTA Chelation Therapy for lead
poisoning and other heavy metal toxicity. By the way, if you check the
labels on some popular brand name soups, you will find EDTA listed as
an ingredient. It's really harmless and does a lot of good for the
body. Prevention and Treatment of Degenerative Diseases
How fast and how dramatically we age have a great deal to do with
impaired circulatory efficiency, according to Dr. Leon Chaitow. He
stated, "If arteries could be kept supple (flexible, elastic),
prevented from hardening and narrowing, the free flow of blood would be
assured and both the risk of rapid aging as well as many diseases
associated with age could be prevented or significantly helped if they
already existed." Researchers
over the past fifty years have determined that this form of treatment
is extremely safe and very effective for various types of heart
problems associated with blocked arteries. Chelation therapy (combined
with dietary and exercise programs where possible) encourages
circulatory obstructions to be dissolved by the body's own efforts
after the concrete binding blocking material has been dissolved and
removed. An early
researcher, Dr. Norman Clake, stated in 1976 to the California Medical
Association, that in his 28 years of giving EDTA chelation therapy, he
had given " ..at least 100,000 to 120,000 infusions" and had never seen
anyone harmed. Another researcher reported that in over 2 million
applications of EDTA therapy to patients, involving some 100 million
infusions, there was not one single fatality. Millions of patients have
been successfully treated for cardiovascular disease using EDTA
chelation and lived healthier lives as a result. The "conventional treatments"
for the same diseases can not make these same claims. By pass surgery,
help some, but not all, and is very risky. The same goes for treatments
using: - Balloons to spread open arteries
- Minute laser threaded into arteries and "burning and blasting" away deposits.
- High-powered drills or cutting instruments
- Grafting veins from one part of the body, or use of animal veins or special plastics used to replace veins.

All
of these procedures are risky and have resulted in many deaths. The
fact of the matter is if patients were given a choice between dangerous
and risky surgery to treat clogged arteries, and other similar
problems, or a safe and simple treatment like chelation therapy, the
choice would be an easy one. Perhaps this is why chelation therapy has
been fought against "tooth and nail" by orthodox medicine, hospitals
and pharmaceutical companies for years. But
even as you read this, more and more "conventional" doctors are looking
into this "new" therapy as an answer to cardiovascular degenerative
diseases. After all, to not give the patient every choice available
would truly be quackery. Even worse would be to know about chelation
therapy and "hide" it from patients because some "colleagues" consider
it "unproven, unscientific, or unsafe." Doctors who think this way are
dangerous to their patients as they are denying them life saving
treatments. If you or anyone you know have difficulty with any of the
diseases mentioned here and are considering treatment, have them look
into Detoxamin EDTA chelation therapy.
